Total Species Summary
The Queensland Government caught 3,829 sharks between 2012 to 2017. The top eight species that were caught were the Blacktip Reef Whaler, Bull Whaler, Great Hammerhead, Long Nose Whaler, Scalloped Hammerhead, Spot-Tail Whaler, Tawny Nurse Shark and the Tiger Shark.
